Durgapur Urban Haat

• The 1st Urban Haat in the model of Dilli Haat was setup and inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal at Palashdiha, City Centre in Durgapur on 13th April, 2012.
• 054 Acre of land provided by Asansol Durgapur Development Authority (ADDA) at Palasdiha,opposite to City Centre, Durgapur at free of cost.
• Infrastructure created : (i) Two Nos. display building (ii) One souvenir building (iii) One office building (iv) 120 stalls (v) Open auditorium (vi) Food Court (vii) One two storied Artisans Hostel, open display area, toilets, car parking, garden etc.
• Capacity for providing space to 300 hundred artisans at a time.
